About Us

It started back in the fall of 2003 with my friend and co-founder Brian Kelly. We both were very interested in the paranormal being that we had our own experiences and started to look further in to causes and effects of the paranormal. We started out with hardly anything but slowly over the years have researched and grown into a well organized and outfitted team. We run with three main members currently and have a few floating investigators. Most of our investigations have been brought to us by word of mouth and through these we have become even more intrigued by what is out there.

Being located just outside of Chicago, IL. It gives us the opportunity to go to various locations of reported activity. We have found that there are a vast amount of active places in and around the Chicago land area and will be updating our site to reflect these points of interest. Our group believes in openly sharing information and investigations. We feel that you’re able to learn from anyone if you’re just willing to listen. If you are interested in contacting us about any activity our service is free. Any case that we investigate is always held in the utmost confidentiality.

JOHN HERWALD FOUNDER/LEAD INVESTIGATOR

I have been curious about the paranormal since I was a child. I have been actively seeking it out for over 20years now. I have had numerous personal experiences that fueled my interest in the field.

My goal now is to find solid proof that there is something more to our existence. I believe in looking at things from all angles and to use a scientific approach. Starting this group is a way to help not only find answers, but also to reach out to others in the field or perhaps those who would like to enter it.

I welcome all input and never will I turn away from a challenge. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit more about me.

Brian Kelly Co-Founder/LEAD INVESTIGATOR

Since I was a young Child, I felt as if there was more to the world then what is generally accepted as existence.
Around the Age of 5 I had experienced situations of knowing about them before they have happened, extreme cases of Déjà vu,
Also what is commonly referred to as Astral Projection (though I didn’t know this term at the time).

These experiences had prompted me to try honing these Abilities throughout my early teens with mild success and also led me to pursue interest in all things paranormal and the possibility of either their existence (and or) explanation as to what they are.

John and I began a friendship years ago and began discussing our own experiences. After awhile we began to look into areas of interest be it the local cemeteries or friends who claimed to have a presence at their houses.

Later as time and money would allow we began to build N.I.G.H.T and found ourselves being more and more intrigued by what we found. Now we have started our site to try to bring what we have found to you. We encourage you to contact us if you feel you have something that needs an explanation for without questions there can be no answers.

Jennine D. Case Manager/Webmaster

Jennine came to our group about a year ago; she has proven herself as a valuable member of our team. Her efforts have been invaluable in making our group a success, from the hours she puts in researching & contacting our clients to spending her free time working on our site.

Jennine does not do investigating with us although she is always interested in our findings; she openly admits that she does not want to come face to face with the things that go bump in the night.

Keith Herwald Tech Manager/Investigator

Keith became involved in the group back in 2005 after spending several months at a friend’s house that had serious activity.

Keith has superior knowledge when it comes to technical problems, be it replacing a CCD on a camcorder to helping locate the best equipment to fit our needs.

We come to him on almost a daily basis for his input and ideas.

Not only is he responsible for making sure our equipment is fully operational, he goes the extra mile to join us on our investigations. We are very lucky to have such a dedicated member on our team.
